RACCOONS

Raccoons are about the size of a small dog.

They have dark fur around. their eyes that looks like a

mask. The rest of their fur can be colors like grey, brown, or red.

Raccoons live in the wilderness and can also live in cities.

They like to eat fruit, nuts, seeds, fish, and plants. They will eat birds’ eggs too and will look for food in garbage bins.

Raccoons have predators like cougars, coyotes, and dogs. Owls and eagles will go after baby

raccoons.
